I visit youtube.com and amazon.com daily. I feel using these websites are effective because navigating on the sites are self explanatory. It's very easy to find what you need. They both have nice white spaces, placement, colors are nicely contrasted, and easy to read font. It's great because there is no fluff and both websites really communicate with their audiences. I love the fact that they are both mobile optimized because I can check my accounts whenever I need to. Another thing that is amazing about these two websites is that they are interactive platforms meaning their homepage are constantly changing for the better. Not to mention that video and inventory content is continuously being added per second. Both pages have great designs and I over all really enjoy them. I feel that Amazon is maybe lacking in the filter options, it really annoys me when I have to select each filter individually. The only complaints I have about Youtube is that I really think they could make account preferences and the playlist settings more user friendly.
